pasterofmuppets
Is this possible? Are after-market metal bodies compatible with this gun? I know it comes with a metal body already, but I was thinking of installing the DTP receiver (if I'm lucky enough to find one). I would guess at least only those with the quick take-down feature would even be considered, but are those even compatible?
jahoot
why would you want to replace it?? and it may not be compatible only because of the ics m4s ability to quickly remove the piston. it may be a special reciever shape. don't quote me.
Antagon
I highly doubt it...the stock attachement is different.
unimatrix001
I fear thats not possible. If you look to the rear end of the ICS Body and compare it to a TM or CA you will notice that the ICS is about 10 to 15mm longer than the Marui or CA. All aftermarket metal-bodys I know were made for TM/CA, so they will not fit properly to the ICS.
pasterofmuppets
Well, that's somewhat dissapointing. I really wanted to get a hold of that DTP SR15 body. I guess only time will tell if somebody will make an aftermarket body for this gun. Anybody try fitting an SP M203 on a stock ICS? Is it a drop in or does it required a bit of modifying? MadMoose
why would you want to do that? it would completely negate everything that makes the ICS M4 unique :\.
Hissing_Sid
I know it's not exactly what you want to hear but I see that ZeroOne are selling replacement ICS M4 bodies so it would seem that there is a market for them. Hopefully other similar items will become available soon.
