joeking27
My old FX5200 ran BF2, not sure how much one is now though.
visionviper
You can get a Nvidia 6600GT video card for around $100. That is what I would get. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814170082 A little over your budget, but that is what I recommend to you. If you absolutly have to get a card for $100 or under: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...82E16814122206R I say get the Albatron card though. They are good cards. Ban Mido
Thanks how about either of these two? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814131415 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814125022 and the giga byte i would use in crossfire. or is the albatron still better? visionviper
Those cards both don't perform as well as the 6600GT. Do you have an AGP slot or a PCI Express slot for your graphics cards?
Ban Mido
Im not sure i have an older dell and compaq.

DarkLite
1) Bucks? You do realise that other countries use dollars too right? What currency? 2) Need more info - what are your other specs? PCI-E? AGP?
visionviper
He has a Dimension 4100 A Pentium 3 computer from what I understand.
DarkLite
AGP or PCI-E? If he's talking USD I'd reccomend either a NV 6600 or an ATI X1600.
visionviper
It would be AGP 4x My dad has a 4300 IIRC or a 4200 and it's AGP 4x. He's told me he is going to be building a new computer, but after the PS3 comes out.
Ban Mido
yep exactly that's why i was looking for somthing a little cheaper just to hold me over.
visionviper
You could go with a Radeon 9600. It does fine with BF2. I don't know how well it will be do though since you can onyl run it at 4x.
WeirdoTransvestite
1) Bucks? You do realise that other countries use dollars too right? What currency? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It says in the title: "a good vid card, for under 100 usd."
SmashJoehanson
Unfortunatly, at 4x agp and with a pentium 3 processor, even on very low settings bf2 will play poorly. Your best bet is the 9600, however I would consider an upgrade if I was you. Cheers, Smash Joehanson
