HKG36
Alright the details on putting a HK G36 stock on airsoft G36's is almost non existent and before I drop 81.00 on factory new stock I want to know what modifications are required to the CA36 stock assembly and do I have to have a stock pin machined? bigbaby
I thought the stocks were almost $200?
Glenn
You'll need to grind out a lot of the stock where the internal latch would be on the airsoft model, as well as shape the hinge somewhat. I don't know if you'll need to modify the pin, but it does seem like a lot of work.
HKG36
Well do know if CA stocks are the correct length and size then as I'm starting to reconsider as I don't want to potentially destroy as authentic G36 stock.
Glenn
CA stocks are the correct length, more or less. If I remember correctly I think they measure up like a 1/4" short...not enough to bother a guy like me.
