jez Posted January 28, 2007 Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 Hey guys need some help i bought a second hand TM MP5-PDW of a good friend but this pdw had a wobbly silencer on it it was how can i say, bodged on so it easyly got pulled of and left me with a inner barrel poking out, so i cut it down and found a flash hider on here to try and "restore" its looks only around the inner barrel at the end there is a thread so i can only imagine there must be something you need to screw into this thread for the flash hider to clip onto? am i right i must be missing somthing? machgo Posted January 28, 2007 Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 It looks like you're missing the muzzle. It attaches to the sight assembly. That flash hider in the last pic attaches to the muzzle, which has three "lugs" corresponding to the three slots on the flash hider. machgo Posted January 28, 2007 Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 I don't have my PDW avaulable to look at, but it looks like the muzzle screws into that hole around the inner barrel--the sight assembly. Then the flash hider (last picture) slides over the muzzle. You twist it about a third revolution, then lock it on with the locking lever on the flash hider. Sounds complicated but is dirt simple once you have the parts in front of you. Link to post Share on other sites
