I think this is a competition shooting rifle, saw it on a guns and ammo program once showing the accuracy of the AR15 platform with high quality ammo or something.

I'm not really an armalite fan, but I remembered seeing this on the aforementioned tv program recently and was interested in trying to re-create an airsoft version of the rifle I saw. So I was looking for front end conversion kits with a free float barrel and a cheap AR15 platform to put it on, when I found this. It's the same rifle I saw, but much cheaper than a clone with a conversion kit.

Would look much better with a rifle scope and perhaps a short VN style mag. Sorry, not a lot of rails for all you tacticool people. I like it though :D

Now I don't think anyone else has posted on this, but sorry if it's a duplicate.

Nothing so new compared to all the Magpul PTS news I've been hearing recently ;)

Edit: I'm pretty sure Classic Army armalites do have a working charging handle. It seems people will say the strangest things to sell off their clones <_<

Sorry. I assumed it was new since I'd never seen it before and I frequent that site often, and I've heard nothing about it

Edit: SHAAAAME

Usually the U.S tends to recieve products a little later than straight from the manufacturers in China and Japan.

For example, this was on this site forever long ago.: http://www.rsov.com/index.php?target=produ...product_id=3310

or added in january on this one: http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog/produ...roducts_id=1368

It's a handguard based on a JP Design, and JP Rifles are indeed used a lot for sports / recreational shooting. Madbull / Socomgear has licensed JP products that are for sale through the well known retailers...

As for the news itself, it's indeed a bit old as said above :)
