    Forum updates, feedback system and new versions

    Firstly I'm going to try to document forum updates and other work completed to the site here in my forum blog. This will keep all the forum related updates in one place.   I've completed several updates to the forums today. We're now running the latest IPS versions for Gallery and Blog. There should be several bug fixes and feature adjustments with these new versions; I don't get a list I'm afraid or I'd publish it.   I've also taken comments on the trading system on board and we now have a

POWERZ!

I started writing a response to Snowman's blog, but it went on for far too long, so i thought i'd post it here instead, with a few ramblings of my own:   To be fair, the 328 fps rule is somewhat of an internet thing, than a reality. A lot of sites have a 328fps +/- 5% rule for AEG's and then a 400-500fps rule for bolt actions. My local sites have a 350fps rule for AEG's, which bloody hurts at close range, yet i keep mine at 328 so i can play wherever. My point being... sniper rifles are usual

Update, for no real reason

There's not been an awful lot happening in the life of hardcore right now, apart from coming to the conclusion that I really like getting parcels in the mail. My Halloween costume came the other day (it rocks so hard! ) and my previous bout of impatience was for my PSG-1, which is waiting at the parcel depot. Materialistic? Moi?

We need more Powerrrrrrrrr! (No apology to Scotty)

What is it with this obsession with power?   In particular, why are so many people messsing their boxers over this, admittedly quite nice sounding, Chinese L96 replica?   For some, sure, it's the fact it's an L96 replica (sort of), but many are saying "Cor, it does 540 fps for sure", "No, no, it's 560!", "I heard it was 750 with .12gs!".   OK in some places in the States, you're duty bound by the Constitution to hurt your fellow airsofter ("I'm gonna make you squeal like a pig. Too Many Chiefs, Not Enough Braves.

Too many areas of interest anyway, but a popular cliche is more eye-catching   What I have found lately is that many areas of my life in which I would dearly love to spend oodles of cash are collectively draining my resources, to the point where I'm reluctant to invest in any of them!
