Ritalin, or Cashcard & Scissors?

Another forumite in the form of Shard (hey Dave biggrin.gif ) from came round last night, and it has thrown my dozy, minute attention span into sharp relief.

Halfway through taking an RK-104 into pieces I was, to be quite honest, losing interest in the whole shebang, and for no good reason. We were there to try and fix the bloody accuracy on it and see whats what with the weirdness, but, like everything I do to entertain meself, I found my mind wandering and I was not as engaged in the process as I should've been.

God bless you Dave for getting me that far! We stripped all the front end off and even undid some screws wink.gif (Okay, I'm not quite that bad at tech stuff). Had it not been for him being there though it would have just sat there as-was for another month before I got round to doing anything about it laugh.gif

It is a bit of a trend though; I never got good at anything technical because I didn't have the patience for it, but I am almost eternally patient with people, just not with things....

I guess things don't answer back if you swear at them [confrontation issues] [/confrontation issues]

Okay, so that was the silly way to look at it, what the real thing is though is perhaps the need for less booze and maybe some zombie meds like Ritalin, perhaps that'll do the trick?

Maybe I should just get a bit more exercise, actually.

Or, in fact, maybe the thing to do is stop buying every bloody gun I can get away with in terms of weekly wages (haven't bought any new clothes for well over a year, wonder why wink.gif ) and try doing one thing at a time instead of 10!

Its such an easy thing to do, especially when your job dictates that you must be practised and highly competant in hugely varying activities, and it continues into all parts of your life - resulting in a short attention span which can be a total b**tard of a thing when you have to sit down and get one thing done properly.

And the reason I don't have the motivation is because I actually lack the passion for airsoft that pretty much everyone here has in spades, Dave's knowledge of technicalities and custom parts etc. dwarfs mine, and we both shop at exactly the same store! I clearly haven't been paying attention.

I guess I am the ultimate chairsofter, in all but that I do actually skirmish! biggrin.gif And I still can't quite decide which rifle to use tomorrow ....

Hehe, and you

The marketing company must of been using the pokemon idealogy "gotta get em all" when labelling that box !

Stuff it, i've put the hi capa up for splits as its dead as a dodo. Will keep the mags and a few other little bits, flog the rest and hopefully raise enough cash to buy a WE in some form (next gng order me thinks).

With that, any chance i could borrow one of your WE's for the 12th ? That would mean i could have a sidearm or im screwed again for the encounters of the close kind (Will use my mags, just need a weapon for them lol)

Course you can mate, whichever one you want smile.gif

Be damn handy to see how them hi-flow valves in your mags make use of the WE guns actually, might get them installed for all me HFC/WE metal guns ....

Cool mate cheers !

I'd be interested to see what they are like also. I never got the opportunity to really try them out on mine so it would be nice to see what they can do (Except briefly last night a full auto hi capa is quite scary - i'll tell ya about it next time i see you). No takers on bits of my hicapa yet, i give myself a week before i order a WE up from GnG regardless of the state of play on shifting these bits laugh.gif
