An evening with Evil Hippy
`It was just a day like any other, no-one expected it to turn out like this... `
Actually, it really was just another generic evening of mindless drinking and smoking, so I decided to make an event of it, with what little resources I had, namely;
Me
My mate Matt
16 beers (yo ho ho)
A quantity of a rather controversial relaxant
Guns, lots of guns
1/4 bottle of V.S.O.P. Champagne Cognac
Fresh fillet steak
Camera phone
Egg
Ammo,
&
Nothing better to do.
......
......
From these inauspicious beginnings we managed to have a thoroughly entertaining evening, the inclusion of poncy food, even poncier drink and many thousands of pound's worth of airsoft did help matters along slightly, but only slightly.
We would have been equally at home in a destitute hovel somewhere in Hull, but only just (and only thanks to the crack-babies and whoring pre-teen chavs that give the city it's charm).
Actually, from agonisingly bitter personal experience, I'm gonna have to disagree with myself about Hull there.
The most interesting thing that we discovered was that a Mk.23 SOCOM, lovely gun that it is anyway, is an utter demon if you feed it Abbey Ultra gas At point-blank range it will merrily shatter beer bottles (except the mighty Newkey-Brown ale containment modules) after the merest whiff of the gas itself. Nice.
This is what happens after just one shot -
Thats straight through
both sides/the whole
shoulder of the bottle
blasted off!!
And of course we sampled many more from the armoury
(although its not exactly as it should be, the term `armoury` is a little glamorous for what is essentially a pile of boxes
And of course the most important part of the evening: the late night snack An absolute given on nights like this, except that this time The Munchies were rewarded with something a little classier than usual:
Some juicy ounces of prime, succulent, still-eating-grass-its-so-fresh fillet steak
Oh yes.
Carefully oiled and seasoned -
And grilled on a piping hot rack until this happens:
Man. It still tastes good now .....
Shame the brandy champers ran out before the steak was done, but there seemed to be some wine around the place that wouldn't be missed, so ........
