What happened to ASF?! I really am going to miss what that place used to be. I mean, I have often complained about posting in too many forums, but it had all sort of boiled down to a forum for each particular purpose. I would post here to to basically pimp my sheit and spent the vast majority of my time in the pictures threads (which seems to be a habit of more than just myself). I would take the knowledge I gained from here (and my own building) and pass it on to newer members on ASF. Bah. I don't want to walk away from the reputation I have cultivated over there (and especially my history thread, that thing has every completed project I have built over the past 12 months), but I don't know if I can be associated with what Admin has done (and my do in the future). Some may say that it is just an airsoft forum, but with the political stance Admin took with ASF, it no longer is just that. Lame.

In good airsoft news, Henry introduced me to a new shop that is guaranteed to drain my pockets. They have in stock some truly hard to find and rare parts. This has scuttled all my carefully laid plans for my next few projects (in exchange for a single ridiculous project), but I would probably have changed my mind by the time I got around to purchasing anyway. If I can get my cash flow all squared away in the next few weeks, I am going to build a truly rare and amazing piece.

I fit my Wilson Combat beavertail today. Not such easy work, but I can say that it is a custom piece now. I chose to make a few modifications from the method Davedawg used, hopefully I haven't ruined my gun (I removed a support brace I thought was unnecessary). Only time will tell.

More parts should be in the mail soon, I have another project build in the works. That is allowing me to purchase the last few bits I need for my Delta Comp. Once I finish it, I bet I strip the comp and other sheit off and throw it on a Hi Capa. Just wanted to be first to build a race 1911. I might go further with it and add optics, but we shall see.
