  1. Banged the dangerwerx valve in and it was doing 280-290 on propane usingf 0.25g BB's with superb accuracy and everyone who had a go had a huge grin on their faces afterwards. Thanks, DangerWerx the valve was excellent and a doddle to install
  2. they are indeed lovely pieces; i got my shorty version in DE a coupla months ago and solid hardly describes it! With the rail and upper being one piece I reckon you could use it to jack a bloody car off the ground! Added a 51T flashider to mine along with a VFG instead of the AFG it came with, an enhanced 0.7" buttpad and will also put a MIAD grip on when I can be bothered. otherwise I think it looks the canines dangly bits as is! Whaddya think?
  3. Firstly, Thanks to Ian from Tactical Kit for sending me this pouch. I have had a few orderes with Ian and all have gone smoothly even for stuff that had to be especially ordered in from the US. G1098 is a new company in the tactical nylon market and is, I believe headed up by an ex serviceman. The range looks very complete and is based on but not entirely accurate to the new British MTP camo. This is the medium utility pouch and from a first inspection, I would say it rivals Warrior kit for quality and in some areas actually exceeds them. For me, I have been using Warrior gear for the
  4. Fired one mag and am now in love. It's so loud!! Will do the bolt catch mod tomorrow I think.
  5. The box Inside with the 3 extra mags Right side showing lack of trades but markings on bolt KWA markings Only other markings are model type Hmm lovely, will test fire later on propane through my xcortech chrono
  6. Will take some photos in a while.
  7. My KWA one arrived today and has no trades at all. Also no instructions. Anyone know where I might find some at all? Thanks.
  8. Cheers ollie! *suitcase* the bed; £80 for a suppressor I didnt realise it was that much!
  9. I think I'll try it au natural first and then with the new valve thingy if required. Next question; anyone any idea where to get one of the suppressors! I can't find anywhere with em in stock.
  10. Cheers mate! I've asked dreamworx for one of his valves so I can run propane as I've 8 cans lying around!! Oh and ollie. Thanks for your review; it was what made me order this at long last after toying with the idea for ages! When I saw it and the mags were in stock at AW I had to have it.
  11. Just ordered mine, it was that or a we G39 and this looks infinitely more fun. Can any UK users confirm it works fine on 134a on full auto? Final question; where can I get an npas from?
  12. You lucky lucky man! Need any help testing it by any chance?
  13. Usmc, are those photos mock ups or have you got one of the AK Masadas already?
  14. holster wise, I'm using a serpa and it fits beautifully. Don't go expecting a clone one though! You'll have to stump up for the real deal blackhawk for this.
  15. Oh well, thems the breaks I guess! The other way of looking at it is that ARES might not be good but at least they have made them before whereas with magpul we'd all be beta testing their design!!
  16. Battery wise I run a flightpower 7.4v 2200mah lipo with plenty of room to spare. That'll last me all day using midcaps. A mate uses a 3000mah battery but it's a bit of a squeeze in the handguard!
  17. Obviously that worked for you but if a two second squirt of silicon does the trick do you not think stripping the GB, addressing any AoE issues and installing another part is a touch OTT for most people?
  18. Glad to be of service. I too was really disappointed with both of mine until I did that!! I thought I'd ended up with two expensive paperweights!! Silicon FTW. It'll also keep your hop nice and soft
  19. just squirt silicon down the feeder tube; no disassembly required.
  20. Not necessarily; I use zero one BB's and mine feeds fine. The problem I had was with the mags and I've found it to be the case with all PMAGS I've owned and three other team mates. What you need to do is squirt some silicon spray sown the feed tube on the mag and then work it in by pushing the follower up and down a few times with say an unjamming rod. After that ALL of my and my team mates mags fed absolutely fine. Give it a go; it's cheaper than switching BB's!
  21. difficult to squeeze a battery in there too!
  22. I notice you all use pmags in your magpul lowers. I have a home built G&P based carbine using all G&P internals but none of my pmags feed!! They are the newer M type ones but none will feed! I'm well miffed. Any ideas?
  23. BULLE stuff is pretty darn good. I'm still using a set of Marpat bdu's I've had for about 6 years. I also had a Ricas vest until I upgraded to warrior plate carriers and tactical kit about a year ago. I think whether you're new or old hand it's a good place to start any loadout.
  24. Looks sweet. Not my taste though as I prefer them slightly less cluttered
  25. Yep the magpul MOE rails. I've fitted some online and they're great. Personally I have the polymer ones.
