  1. Oooooh that's nice starmonkee!! The only reason I bought it was because i wanted a silenced G19 and it was the only threaded barrel I have ever seen!! It is utter rubbish though and I would heartily recommend that you would get more satisfaction from taking a lighter to £30 than spending it on this poo!
  2. I bought this for a KSC/KWA G19 and was assured it would fit. I could sum up this product in one word....######!! I will go into a little more details though, especially as they are asking £30 for this and I want you all to know just what level of *suitcase* £30 will buy you these days. First off; the finish is absolutely rubbish and inconsistently applied onto what feels like cheap low grade very light metal. The original barrel was much heavier and better finished!! It covered the markings on the breach and well, just looked totally naff! Next I checked the actual fit of the inne
  3. Right, just measured the space in the RIS unit fir s battery. My best guess is that you need one less than 170mm long 150mm if you want it to end behind the gas block 15mm in height and 30mm in width to fit. Even then you'll need to do some creative jiggery pokery with the wires and the battery will be quite visible from the front.
  4. Bought this as a little treat after selling loads of stuff. I ordered it from UK Tactical and the whole process was painless with the vest turning up a couple of days later.I got it in tan and it ooks very nice with the MOLLE loops looking sturdy and spaced correctly, something on some other vests I have noticed isn't always the case. The vest came with 5 M4 mag shingles a double pistol mag pouch 2 med utility pouches and a radio pouch. i also ordered a 4 x M4 closed mag pouch to add to it.it is very comfy to wear and due to the higher cut it doesn't ride up under your chin when you bend over
  5. I'm going to cover both the belt order rig with the optional suspenders and the 901 chest rig again with the optional back panel fitted. I bought this from UK tactical and their service was as always first class and the courier delivered it within two days. first up the belt order. The quality is top notch as you would expect from Warrior and the materials feel plenty sturdy enough for airsofting with everything put together well too. This isn't a set up that you can buy complete but rather one I build myself after chhosing the pouches. total cost was just over £100. For
  6. Also, the 11.5 i have was absolutely filthy inside. In fact i though i saw a BBC film crew doing a documentary on the origins of life from primordial slime in there! The other thing was that the inner wasn't quite centred in the outer; it was canted to the left so that needed sorting too. A few more photos of it all neatly squared away!
  7. Thanks guys, I like it! I've got virtually every gun I need in that case. Just waiting on the ACOG but the AFG arrived earlier so it is now looking closer to my sig picture than ever! The barrel snd suppressor i got for £140 fron HK. The RIS unit is going to be a permanent edition I think as an accessory but as leftyflip said the DE suppressor is limited edition I don't know how many though; I thought it was about 500-1000 units. Adding everything for that one gun puts the total at around £850 Inc case and optics!! Oh, stuck with standard hop rubber but might chuck an element one in th
  8. Fitted with both barrel lengths!
  9. Nope it won't you'll need the larger sling plate that is a direct screw in replacement for the flat one on there already. It's about £20 or so from places like firesupport to name but one and of course other magpul retailers!
  10. And conversely some won't like the look. Personally, I'm not too bothered. I would prefer it to look like the pic in my signature but I'll survive if the gas block sits an inch further forward of the end of the RIS.
  11. Should have the RIS later this week and yes, it'll be a shame but I reckon I can live with it. Of course; if the 10.5" barrel IS released Tgen for the sake of completeness one might find it's way into the collection, even though I don't really need it! Damn you magpul! Damn you!!
  12. Got my 11.5" barrel and suppressor today And they are worth the money! it cost me £140 from ehobbyasia and took about 4-5 days to get here. The fit and finish is excellent and the markings on the suppressor is spot on. One thing worth noting is the barrel inside was FILTHY!! and the inner wasn't aligned quite right in the outer and was canted slightly to the left so the hop nub wouldn't put vertical pressure on the BB. It' isn't a major problem though and can be fixed by just re-aligning it. I have the UK spec masada and it dropped straight in and was nice and snug and so didn't need t
  13. Much like leftyflip, I'd always intended getting all of the extras for this weapon and then using it pretty much all of the time for most things...apart from when I'm using the FG one anyway!!
  14. It is unsubstantiated but I heard from a supplier that the CQB 10.5" barrel has been cancelled. TBH the 11.5" is plenty short enough and does at least mean that you can use a shorter barrel set up with the original polymer handguard without having to buy the RIS unit too. Which you would have needed to do for the 10.5" barrel. Got mine on order with a suppressor so when it comes I'll take some photos and do a short review within the review!
  15. Very near the front so all you can see is the thin black rubber washer. i had mine like that and it did 320-330fps on green gas at around 23c with 0.2g BB's. Stinger = great; well at least compared to the standard hop anyway. I had em in both the SCAR and M4 and instead of shooting flat for 30 feet and then vertical i could now do good double taps or short bursts on target at around 25metres and that was without really tweaking it too much!
  16. Don't think the standard nozle offers an real adjustability but the NPAS is excellent. With the stinger Hop and NPAS using .28BB's I'm getting good range on the site I play on - on par with an AEG and good accuracy too.
  17. Add an NPAS kit and a stinger hop. I have done that to both my M4 and SCAR and the performance is considerably better. I even used them in Jan when it was about 2-3degrees C - admittedly on semi auto only and on propane.
  18. I haven't seen anyone mention the NPAS kits on here but please forgive me if I am wrong! Rather than do a full review in a separate section, I thought it would be good to put it in here. Just got mine this morning. A version one for the M4 and a CO2 compatible one for the SCAR. Each is slightly different and comes with the right length operating rod for each bolt. Fitting is so easy I can't believe it. Simply unscrew the old nozzle off the rod and screw the new one on!! I didn't use the new rods but will keep them as spares. to adjust them you put the supplied tool down the noaale
  19. used mine at the weekend and it was an amazing little piece once I got the hop dialled in for 0.25g pellets. The rail was taken off as the ACM torch I have doesn't fit on and I don't mind the little holes too much. FPS wise with 0.25g bbs at approx 13-14C was 225, which wasn't too shabby and the blowback was crisp and quite powerful. I manged to get every last BB out of one charge of gas and both mags I have locked back each time when empty. Overall, i love it and would give it a 8/10 because of the rail and holes mainly.
  20. Very true but it is still a lovely piece
  21. I chroned mine with 0.2g BB's @13c and it was doing 340fps BUT at 22c it was doing 360 with 0.3g BB's so for the UK an NPAS system from ra-tech seems to be a sensible addition to the gun to allow use all year round -well nearly anyway!
  22. IIRC correctly you can use WA GBB grips - however on the M4 you would need to drill a hole in it for the little spring. I don't know if this would be true for the SCAR as well but it might be.
  23. You need to remove the little plastic bumpers with three bolts in each on either side of the upper receiver using the star tool which is the fake plug at the front of the gas system and an allen key. This will then release the entire barrel assembly.
  24. I assume that you need to have the CO2 conversion kit installed as the nozzle is different to the standard brass one i have in the M4. if all it needs is the nozzle than I shall be ordering 2 asap one for the scar and one for the M4. thanks.
