The real problem behind this idea would be what defines a "good post".
The gear section already has separate moderators, could work in the same way but people with detailed technical knowledge would need to come forward.

@Gadge: you cant apply conventional wisdom to a modern, urban counter insurgency. When i was in Iraq, 9 times out of 10 the best positions for sniper pairs were on rooftops, most of which are completely surrounded by unbroken walls of some kind. Short of kicking a portion of wall down (which works wonders for hearts and minds) the best fire position is on top of the wall.
Not to be an *albartroth* but isn't this what the situation would call for, or is a hole int' wall a more permanent solution for a OP?

I'm not quite sure who anyone would be showing off too though. Self righteous types that think they need their own dedicated thread without any consideration for the rules and other members to boast about their shiny things just tend to get on my nerves

If you brag about knowing someone in the SAS/SBS, you are probably a ######. You are potential compromising their integrity and opening yourself up to monitoring by Islamic extremists.
A lot of us are told not even to advertise that we are in the TA, never mind what they must tell the SAS.

Mainly because I like the game and do not want to offend anybody by wearing the actual SAS insignia, or are UK folk more honored by it than offended?
Just go for it they sell them by the hundreds over here, everyone is in the SAS!
