  1. Kelty 3500 MAP in foiage green.
  2. I've had two so far. Initially I did a lot of staring at the sizing chart and measuring myself, and decided to get a large. I'm 182 cm tall, a tad under 17 stone and I generally wear a large-regular US BDU. The large fit me decently, but had zero room underneath for additional layers. I wore it to one game over a TRU combat shirt and an Underarmour coldgear base layer, and while it was a little snug, it stretched enough not to impede movement. It did not show any signs of use even though I was down in the dirt most of the day. With the snugness, I could not re-zip the underarm vents
  3. It looks like a proper K. There's only about three centimeters of handguard behind the bipod divots on a K, while it's more like six or so on a full length forend. First time I've seen an MP5 stock on one though. Different, but I don't think I'd care for it much on my own. I do wish there were more detents on the rifle stock though, it's far too long for me, especially if I'm wearing armor. I may have to try and mill some more into mine.
  4. It's a G3KA3 if you've got the older style grip. It's only an A4 if you get the G&G FS51 lower: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...RFS51_srch_fs51 I'm debating getting one myself as my pistol grip is cracked, I'm just leery of my whole lower being plastic. I'll try and post some more pictures of my beast soon, I finally got a full load of magazines and it's been seeing some heavy use lately.
  5. Sorry, I haven't been here in around a month. I love my G3K. It's right about M4 length, and has the feel of a big, solid 7.62mm rifle. I find full length G3's too long, and the MC51 style too short, so the K is just right for me. Like navymp said, it's a fairly simple build. G3's are great to work on. I started with a SAR Offizier M41 for a couple of reasons. For starters, it's easier to start with a sliding stock G3 as it already has the jumper wire to route the battery to the fore grip. Should you ever want to run a full stock, it's just a matter of unplugging the gearbox connec
  6. My G3KA3 now with M68 CCO and 3XMag alongside my CQBR.
  7. My new baby, SAR Offizier M41ES. It's my first G3 and I'm thrilled with it. It's not staying in this form for long though, I'm stretching it out to KA4 length and then adding some rails.
