  1. installing a slide on a full auto glock is not the same as a semi. You have to take apart the "switch" mechanism and from what I hear it's a real pain in the butt. If you want a full auto glock with a metal slide and trades - find someone who is selling one or buy a "custom" one from WGC or Uncompany.
  2. officer allen - that gun looks amazing. I used to have a KSC g17 with a silver SD slide and barrel set. Yours just ousted it. How much did that thing set you back though.... :-/
  3. Now I must confess, I have a silver G&G slide - however, I had it professionally stripped and re-anodized silver. It happens to look quite nice IMO.
  4. the other slides are just painted. Anodizing chemically bonds the paint to the metal by means of charging the ions of the paint solution and metal piece......i think...
  5. AHHH!!! you sanded the WHOLE G&G SLIDE?! shame on you..... :-(
  6. that's because the finish is paint is an anodized finish....bummer.
  7. sounds good, I will be hopping on the band wagon of USPc SD painters as well.
  8. should they be a gray color? Or should it have a tint of tan to it?
  9. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...topic=94726&hl= can anyone help me? PLEASE? :-(
  10. the 17 feels like a squirt gun compared to the 19. (IMO)
  11. I don't think everyone thinks mirrored is better - it's not. (that's a fact) haha Anyway, not too bad considering your options. But for future reference, if you want a nice silver slide just break down and spend the bucks for a professional to plate/anodize one or buy SD or someone else.
