From the 1911 onwards, they have had metal inserts inside the slides; however, the hk45 design looks far better than the flimsy metal posts behind the notches in the glock slides.

My slide stop was also hollow; I was wondering if I was the only one to experience this! The brass collar (PX-42) holds the slide stop in place with friction; however, it is nearly impossible to remove once it's broken. I used a screwdriver to force the metal frame out (PX-39). The plastic lower got mangled in a few spots, but it doesn't affect the performance or the exterior. You can use a replacement from the clone model; alternatively, you can wait for ehobbyasia to restock the $50 steel version from detonator that was just released. The clone might be a better value, even tho -

Different places may label the items differently; however, airsoftglobal has both. Look for the "WE Silencer Adapter" and the "AFC Complete Full Metal Drop In Replacement." You should probably get them elsewhere though - the shipping might not be worth it. The slide comes with all of the internals, and it works perfectly out of the box. -

Dude, it's right there. Look up! It comes with the complete "drop-in set;" however, you'll also need the outer barrel adapter that the WE hi-capas use. You'll need to make sure the recoil spring guide doesn't hit the edge of the silencer. -

Yeah, the slide can lock back with duster if the mag isn't cold. The stock blowback unit doesn't fit into the new slide, but the other parts can be swapped. The stock slide probably won't die anytime soon on propane, so this might not be all that necessary. It's a shame the threaded barrel can't be purchased by itself. -

The $60 'complete drop-in set' is a bit heavy, but it's worth buying. You can use the adapter that evike sells for WE Hicapa threaded barrels!
