  1. Hey...that looks...oddly...familiar.
  2. If you want your arms to explode under the strain I would advise NOT using a straight vertical grip-style setup on the EMC. Trust me on this. As USCM pointed out, the EMC uses a special gas block designed to interface with the EMC specific suppressor (pics of that once the ATF lets them transfer it to my dealer):
  3. Hardly looks used, well at least it looks more used then your real one
  4. hah, KAC T-1 battery caps...yep. Time to order a set from Lawmens. God I have a fever, and the only cure...is more KAC!
  5. Dude, seriously, resize your images...
  6. This article may be interesting for you guys, on the history of the SR-25K and it leading up to the best of the bunch...the EMC: http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=53841 Written by Kevin Boland, so it's an interesting walk through and may give you guys some inspiration.
  7. Robb (Jensen) has some awesome rifle configs if you dig around. And that guy can friggin SHOOT! Amazing 3-gunner.
  8. Nope, at night i'm more concerned with NOT falling down and then engaging my rifle (this is for real rifle use). But yeah, the shock cord could probably do the job. I'm just too lazy to hook it up to the Norotos plug. haha
  9. Yes. I just put the adhesive disk on the flat upper portion of the right ear muff. Attach, and shoot.
  10. Thanks flickr for breaking all the links! Almost done, waiting on some S&S V-lites:
  11. Actually EMC. The SR-25 EM is the Enhanced Match, which is the 20"bbl (no dimpling) Basically looks like a standard SR-25 just with the modern feature sets like the URX rail and ambi mag release. The EMC is a completely new best (same lower as the EM) but obviously you can see the differences in the upper.
  12. Correct. I *ONLY* used it as a photo example that they will fit, but it's tight. In retrospect I might have filed the wings open a tad more and re-parkerized them, but at the same time I don't see myself changing the ASAP out for a LONG time, if ever. That said the only issue is that the MS2 (I've got the MS3 and an RSA I've gotten to test) are still such a small sling for that heavy of a rifle. That said 2 point slings are nasty hard to work with a gun that big when doing mag changes.
  13. The receiver is slightly too wide, so mallet ahoy. And yes, hanging a 12+ lb rifle off a 1 point sling will in fact murder your back. OOOF!
  14. haha, I make exceptions on Cinco De Mayo!
  15. Interesting tidbit from the real SR-25. Magpul ASAPs will fit, however you will need to use a mallet, and it will mare the parts of the receiver where the ASAP wings touch Ask me how I found that out. haha. Whacking a 5000 dollar gun with a 5 dollar hammer, that required a few shots of tequila.
  16. USCM, have fun making the EMC. They're neat rifles
  17. That's not a universal shroud. What you see on my helmet is the universal shroud. Your using the older norotos shroud. You can tell by the bottom release on yours.
  18. Thanks. I ended up ordering tan 2x12 from SupplyCaptain. I'll post the finished deal in a week once the helmet comes in.
  19. Guys, know who carries tan velcro? I just bought an MSA 2001 in prep for a class and I need to velcro this *badgeress* up. It's a cool helmet, I'll post pics in a week or two.
  20. Sorry to be a tease, but I obviously can't tell you the date on that. If you need one now, go for it. Image quality won't change much, form factor and features will.
  21. D'oh. It'll be worth the upgrade if we get our way. VholdR has a habit of playing it safe and chucking a lot of our recommendations.
  22. They are in fact nice tools to have. My company designed that for VholdR. Wait till you see the next version! Nice lid.
  23. As a pro-tip, the real KAC receiver's in all honesty look pretty crappy. Un-even engraving, forge flashing, weird random dimple marks even on the SR-25 and SR-15 upper/lowers. So just keep in mind the real ones aren't meant to win beauty contests.
