in my team we made the following patches that we use:

not so much of an custom job, but it got a large c style handguard that can hold a large sized 9.6 battery without any problems. The missaligned bottom rail is due to the sling attach thing that is made for the regualr slim sized handguard, so it doesnt fit this wider one perfectly. it will be gone once I get a rail based sling mount.

nm, found out why.. damn spaces in links makes the board not render the link. replacing it with %20 and it all works niceley.
