  1. Debating whether or not to remove some material from the rear of the UBRIII to eliminate the gap between the rail and the SR47's upper receiver.

      It's pretty much a toss up. A discontinued $500 conversion kit vs $300 rail that's currently in production. The other option is just to live with the gap, which has only an aesthetic impact.

      If memory serves correct, when I installed a URX II on an AEG a few years back, the only part that needed modification for flush fit was the barrel nut (you had to turn it down a few hundredths)?

      To add, I'd definitely mod the rail, not the SR47 kit. That kit is definitely worth more than a URX3.
