  1. As far as i know, no they don't make one. All the outers i have seen are silver, on both model colours. However as a few of the parts are silver it isn't that bad, would be odd if it was the only silver part 'FireKnife'
  2. Nah, and too bad they don't do one anyway, i prefer that sliver barrel on the black slide look, like the Custom and Custom 2 by Kimber. Considering there already is quite a few silver things on the Detonics they all fit together. 'FireKnife'
  3. Nico was bearable and Under Siege was just funny, but even his early work like The Patriot was ######. As for the training i find that even after training some actors still flinch as a natural reaction to gunfire. I have even seen airsofters that flinch due to a GBB going off, which always makes me laugh. However i find that the more i concentrate on a long shot, the more likely i am to blink rather than flinch. Micheal Mann just has an obssesion with new guns that run .45 hence why in all his non-period films and Miami Vice they all had the latest hardware that made the biggest bang,
  4. True, i have only seen him flinch once in a film when firing a gun. But his singing career, well erm, just no. Though hi Lawman show isn't too bad, bit like all the other US cop shows but at least he actually does something rather than just make bad films. I did look into his firing technique and it is very odd, lots of moving about, waving the gun and firing using instinct rather than sights. That and getting 15 rounds out of a single stack 1911 'FireKnife'
  5. If i remember rightly it is 74 years that the 1911 and 1911A1 was officially the US Army handgun, the Beretta was accepted for service in 1985, but didn't really replace the 1911A1 truly until the 90's with many units still sticking to the 1911 due to the stopping power, availability of custom parts and the fact they have used it since day one. Considering that at the time the 1911 was designed it could have the power to be carried as a primary (which against bolt actions and static machine guns was entirely possible) where as modern 9mm are designed for police carry or as a compliment to the
  6. Too bad i got this 'oh you have a 1911, just like Steven Seagal' However whatever people say about them i can understand why they are still popular. Plus i have yet to find a pistol equal to the 1911 for use at other times, not like i haven't been trying 'FireKnife'
  7. I much prefer single action and external hammers as then you know that when it is cocked it is in the firing position and that only the safety and trigger are preventing it from going off. Plus it is the action i have stuck with, not too keen on single action and sweeping triggers, prefer a straight to the rear light pull that the 1911 has. 'FireKnife'
  8. Well with the real Glock it has so many internal safties, however in airsoft they don't really replicate that well. But as for Conditions a single action should be condition 1, a double action condition 2 and a USP which ever you feel like as it does both However i have once or twice carried my Detonics in Condition 2 as it has that little slide section to allow it to be drawn and cocked with ease, or so they claim. 9. Yeah i have long fingers that make it easier to crook them into the trigger guard rather than rest them on the side. A lot of people seem to sit with the safety off, resting on the trigger guard. But then again in the WW2 days people had the gun hammer on the half cock position as they thought Condition One was unsafe and could cause accidents. Asi say, i always carry Condition One and do my best to inform other 1911 users about it, that don't already know 'FireKnife'
  10. I use a technique were i rest my trigger against the front of the trigger guard, so that reduces the chance of me 'flicking' the finger into the trigger guard and causing a jerked shot. However i always have my safety on when in a clear situation, only when i intend to even shoot does it come off, often as my finger is moving towards the trigger. Found it much better than this whole trigger discipline is finger outside the trigger guard and resting on the frame or on the side of the guard. Will see if i can dredge up a pic of what i mean. 11. Aiming at my target, safety off. Here is my discipline: 'FireKnife'
  12. Was thinking more like the style of a black and white comic, sharp edges, no blurring between black and white. I know i use B&W for most of my pics but that is for a reason, draws attention away from colour and puts it on the detail of the gun. Kind of like this: However that is nowhere near my best, a £30 camera and a basic B&W filter is all that is. I am trying to get some more artistic shots but a lack of a good camera doesn't help 'FireKnife'
  13. Just shot at the last fading light of the day: Trigger from a MEU. Too bad i don't have a better camera or editing suite at the moment to make it look better. 'FireKnife'
  14. Renegadecow, he is a user on here that makes them himself. 'FireKnife'
  15. Voila, Stealth Cat. 'FireKnife'
  16. Good, now go into the sales section and buy my Foliage Warrior But the 1911A1 looks good, will have to get the pic of me with mine in my Resi gear. 'FireKnife'
  17. Reminds me of the Px4 paintjob on GRAW2. The only thing i will say is that it is still part WE, that is the only thing bad about it 'FireKnife'
  18. I understand it is not a pressing issue, merely voicing my concern for the system. If it stays, then it stays, i don't mind just offering an opinion on it. I have only seen a few of the more regular members comment on the system but that is why i requested a possible vote, when the time is right of course. In terms of negative reps i have only seen one or two that i can recall, but that is based on my opinion that the negative was not deserved more than anything. 'FireKnife'
  19. Physically fair enough but to the users that ability to give +/- to someones post changes things as i have said. It leads to too many people lurking and only hitting a button rather than actually taking the time to voice their opinion, something that if i recall the concept of the forum was designed for. It turns it into Facebook and gives that ability to have no real opinion on a subject to people that are already lazy enough to post what they think. Like i have said before if only 5% of those 100 that press a Like or +/- button actually piped up and posted then we could have a much great

    CZ Picture Thread

Spitting a bb down a barrel is more accurate than those two guns However that is a nice pistol, was thinking of one myself just for the fun of it. 'FireKnife'
  21. Woodland or CQB? Be a man and play a woodland game with a pistols and 4-5 mags 'FireKnife'
  22. I run around with a pistol while most of you have an AEG. I have a bigger than average penis. Enough said. And anyway while i am here, one for the thread: 'FireKnife'
  23. Too bad some people can't just post in a serious manner and degrade everything to a peep show. I know i am usually the one behind it but in some threads it just isn't necessary. 'FireKnife'
  24. The mods comment was a joke, i was just finding an odd reason as to why the threads were getting locked, whatever you do at home is up to you. But really we need a thread that is just simply titled in a way that 'Girls and guns, post pics of your missus, GF or friends holding airsoft guns or at an airsoft game, keep them tasteful'. At least if the thread is dedicated to that and the point of 'no pointless oggling posts' is made clear perhaps it will be a success. Anyway back to the 1911's 'FireKnife'
  25. Can i just add to the whole rep and post rep debate. To be honest it is an unnessecary system that i find encourages others to basically give no real opinion or help to the discussion by allowing them to remain hidden and have a go at others without giving a reason why. I admit that in the pictures section the ability to give someone a +1 helps save clutter and posts of 'good job etc' from filling up the threads. On something like Facebook or Youtube with the Like and thumbs up or down system it works there however on here it just seems way too open to abuse. That and leaving playe
