Good purchase TheLair. MARPAT rocks. Not to one up you but I just picked up a used blouse from my local Army/Navy shop for 16$, gonna pick up the trousers probably next week (20$). What's awesome about the genuine article (as you already know) even if they are worn the colour is still excellent, it doesn't fade really at all. Yah, I don't know about that. The Phantom's CIRAS only comes in OD and Khaki, those pouches look much more like foliage/ranger green than OD. Unless the pouches are from Proud's CIRAS. I dunno, if you can find out anything more I would really appreciate it.

By the way... What paint did you use? I think my friend is interested in doing a brown scheme on his gun as well.

The ONLY reason I didnt' get my PC w/ cumberbund in Multicam was because I wanted a solid colour that would work with all my camo...including my Multicam and blue Russian camo. OMG CB looks amazing with Russian! Pictures coming soon

A few things I have aquired over the past few months... Eagle PC w/ cumberbund (CB) Eagle LE hydration pouch (CB) Eagle double M4 pouch x2 (CB) Eagle dual M9 pouch (CB) Eagle smoke grenade pouch (CB) Eagle universal dropleg holster (CB) Alta kneepads (you guessed it...CB )

CB from what I have heard, is great pretty much anywhere, which is one of the reasons why Marines have adopted that as their new colour. But if you are going for OD, than definately get the Phantom, the OD colour is much more floral and verdant, the MilSpex is dark for some reason, it may go well for ACU set ups, but for what you are going for, I think the Phantom will suite your needs better.

HUGE REQUEST - I hope I have this in the right section, if not my appologies, but I have been tryin to make up my mind forever on whether or not to get the MilSpex CB CIRAS or the Phantom khaki. There are many pics out there of the Phantom but the Milspex seems to be so much more elusive, so if you have a MilSpex CB CIRAS could you please post up your pics!
