Any tips on making my wood look weathered?

Thanks a lot mate, iv only just got the wood and receiver on so iv not got to any final stages yet. I will probably make t look worn or take it to some skirmishes and do some commando rolls haha. Thanks for your contributions (yeh its marui )

Its wood, i dunno the sun was really bright and made it soo light as for the pattern of the wood. I like it. Looks a lot better in RL.

This is my AKM so far. Im pretty pleased with it
