  1. My TM M14's metal has been fine for almost 6 months. I have hit the gun on trees and such countless times. Someone running by me even kicked my barrel by accident, and the gun is still fine. I have also landed my 160 pound self on the butt plate and stock, the gun had no mark. I have held the CA M14 Match, and it feels much like a real M14 with fiberglass stock. But I still wouldn't give my TM M14 for anything, shoots to nicely with .25s at only 255 fps.
  2. My TM SR-16, used to be a KAC gun...
  3. I don't think there is any way to fix this, except to get a wood or real Fiberglass stock. The ABS stock flexes a lot in the front, which causes the barrel flexing. I was thinking of making an aluminum inner frame for the front part of the stock so it won't flex, but I have no idea if there is room to fit something strong enough to help... The TM SOCOM M14 doesn't seem to have this problem, I will have to check out my friends SOCOM again next time I see it. The stock feels a lot more solid, but it have the shorter barrel probably helps .
  4. Yeah $500 is insane for a TM M14... Does the UK have a high tariff or something, why is everything so expensive? Anyway, more pics, of me with my 14. I played with this one in photoshop. Original
  5. Ordering from Overseas may or may not be cheaper. But the shipping usually gets you, it is fairly expensive, takes a while to come unless you pay for the fastest shipping. From what I have seen, buying guns in the UK is really overpriced, I can't believe some prices, maybe the Pounds to US dollars converters on Google are no good but a lot of guns seem to be $100-$200 more then the actual price. Based on my conversions a Marui M14 in the UK would be over $500. So ordering from HK might be a way to save some money.
