  1. Looks great Pozzie. More guns!
  2. It shouldn't be too hard to find, they're $50 at ASGI and Combat Depot, $64 at AA. I've never seen it for less than $50 other than in a classified.
  3. Thanks Joe. Yeah, Vic, it'll be 'finished' with the quad sight. I'll have to replace all those pics when I get it mounted.
  4. Thanks for the props everyone! Average Asian, those are all G&P guns.
  5. Yeah, really nice find. Good job.
  6. I'll be using a spare mag stock pouch for battery storage. I intend to use a lipo slid into a .223 mag shell. I'm working out a plan so that no wires will be able to be seen, but I need to get the parts together first. BTW I went ahead and edited in all the good photos to that post.
  7. Got an RAS for this one and wired it to the back.
  8. I was watching WEC and the issue of close order combat skills was mentioned. heh. With the barrel, yes. About the ACOG, I have the G&P replica and I also have 20/15 vision. I can get about 2 inches eye relief with the sight picture just filling the exit lens. The reticle is clear no matter how far back I am from the sight, I could still hit with it, but eventually as you move back from the sight, the sight image is too large. The only way to get a longer relief from the sight would be to have a larger diameter exit lens or a supplemental magnifier. That's really not a new ex
  9. That's right. CQBR stands for close order quarter battle receiver. (edit oops)
  10. I employed a technique the French Foreign Legion used to re-dye their khakis when the sun had bleached them out. I brewed up some coffee and soaked the speed sleeve and goggle band for about 15 minutes.
  11. TC-2000 Reversible Cover ESS Profiles NVG Mount (Click 1600px)
  12. A3s were originally a full auto variant of the A2. That would be closer to replicating an A4 with a heat shield instead of the M5 RAS upper.
  13. Nice blaster Pozzie. I like the simple/practical set-up.
  14. My suggestion, if you're looking for a high end gun, would be the G&P Colt body M4 A1 Carbine from Redwolf. It's the least expensive, high-quality, perfect 'base' gun for $230 plus shipping to your home, I see it as the 'best buy'. Obviously that's just one man's opinion. I'm curious myself as to what others suggest. There's also $300 M16s by G&P.
  15. I got my G&P M4 last night, nothing unfamiliar, remarkable gun though: (Click hi-res)
  16. Yep, same here. I'm just going to call Souske "The Finisher".
  17. That's one simply wicked pic Sgt. Final 8 pics, the gun is finally finished. (Click 1600px):
  18. That's my next project Sgt., I have to have a replica of the rifle from my service era or be damned.
  19. I haven't been in the USMC thread recently Joe. I need to hop over and check it out. That'd be a sweet set up for sure chillindrdude. I got pics of my 16 with the black stock coming up later today. It definitely looks a lot better.
