I can get about 2 inches eye relief with the sight picture just filling the exit lens. The reticle is clear no matter how far back I am from the sight, I could still hit with it, but eventually as you move back from the sight, the sight image is too large. The only way to get a longer relief from the sight would be to have a larger diameter exit lens or a supplemental magnifier. That's really not a new ex

My suggestion, if you're looking for a high end gun, would be the G&P Colt body M4 A1 Carbine from Redwolf. It's the least expensive, high-quality, perfect 'base' gun for $230 plus shipping to your home, I see it as the 'best buy'. Obviously that's just one man's opinion. I'm curious myself as to what others suggest. There's also $300 M16s by G&P.
