Nice Kimbers 'DesertFox' Now heres a little beasty ive recently completed.....Night Hawks T3 compensated carry Using a TM 4.3 Foliage Warrior/MEU hybrid for frame and slide. MSH with extended magwell by TSC, Alien grips, 4.3 chrome guide rod is by SAPH (I think). All controls and furniture, other than standard TM, are custom built.

Nice guns there 'mimesis' Loving the 5.1 paint finish and colours. The 4.3 looks very agressive, like it.

Thank you I have tested her now and she fires exceptionally crisp, tight and can handle fast shooting (as fast as you can pull the tigger!). Its the accuracy that gets me for such a short barrel length (less than 2 inches!!) Over a distance of 125ft it can hit a dinner plate size area with ease The only draw back is the kick causing the scopes red dot to shift excessively off target between shots

Have just installed a scope on my SV Masterpiece. Its not run of the mill as you can see, its a customized Glock 17 scope mount. Seems to work ok but if this were 'real steel' the barrel vents are not that well placed, as it would blow the mount off lol! And here's two of my 'Race guns' at rest...the Executive now has a WE mag funnel added.

Use Threadlock on the grip bushings threads but if they are really loose then supaglue maybe the only answer. Strange that they are loose though, has anyone else had this problem as PGC kits are good so im told? Regards the grip safety, as 'mimesis' says the Hurricane one is excellent and has the correct palm bump serrations but its black so maybe polish it or spray it silver? Or as you say just file down the edges of the Nova one.

Another nice Kimber there 'Aitch' Yes Mike at ESC has dropped the price of the HurricanE Kimber kits a tad. Still a little to pricey for me at the mo but....no ive other projects waiting. Oooh the agony of being skint!

Nice Kimbers guys, especially that Tactical Entry II 'Lancaster', very tasty Looking at the WAs Marsoc version you have there 'Squad 701', ive an idea that I could build this using a standard TM MEU with a Kimber slide but fit a customized 5.1 Hi-capa RIS below the dust cover. Has anyone on here attempted this build on a TM 1911 yet I wonder?

The Glock scope mount has arrived now so im off to start grinding and filing, the scope mount I mean Will post more piccies when its finished. I would say Inokatsu are going for an early more 'blued' finish than a Parkerised grey, as both were used by Colt on WW2 pistols. I personally like the darker sheen as it looks more 'real' and classy. Many thanks 'Squad 701' yes I will have the mag bumper if its up for grabs

My latest pistol build now completed... Nova Kimber Warrior metal slide mated to a standard (slightly customized lol) TM MEU frame with a Hurricane grip safety and Nova single thumb safety (should be an ambi but I had a single in my spares box and the cost was just to much for the ambi from Nova). Also fitted with uprated KA 150% recoil spring, PDI 6.01mm tightbore and a Nineball hop rubber.

This is my take on the SV Masterpiece IMM IPSC pistol.... All standard TM internals. The rear sight fitment has been plated over and an internal compensator fitted to a standard TM 4.3 barrel. The slide muzzle has been cut sloped so it will fit in the specified size box (225mm ? x 150mm x 45mm high) as required by the new IPSC regulations. Im still waiting on an experimental scope mount (my customizing of a Glock mount to the under side of the RIS) and a Panorama red dot.

Nice looking classic 1911a1 you have there 'Finbarqs'. That worn finish is well done, not to much but just right. The Inokatsu is supposed to be the ultimate in quality with a cost to match but is that a poorly fitted guide rod plug I see? As there is a gap below it in the tunnel, tut tut! 'Squad 701' with regards the inner barrel length problem, cannot you just trim it down or file it, then re-ream/crown the muzzle?

"Airsoft Open University on YouTube", nice one lol ;-) Im not up with WAs parts or their availability, im not that big a fan of them, but if I come across anywhere that has a NH trigger I will let you know ;-) Though couldn't you use a RS trigger, as WAs are always quoted as being able to accept RS parts? Be nice to see the RCP II pics my friend before it wings its way to the client...so sad to let them go :-(

'WolfGorge' Get a Nova, Spartan or LCT through guide rod plug, as they are designed for the longer slide apron/guide rod tunnels like that of the TM 1911s. The Shooters Design ones are for the Hi-capa only. Otherwise it just won't be a true Colt National Match

My latest project now completed... TM 1911a1 frame mated to a 5.1 Hi-capa slide with added serrations. Also fitted an MEU grip safety, Tanio Koba checkered MSH, TM trigger, TM MEU 'Delta' hammer, TM MEU custom made single thumb safety, 4.3 fore sight, TM Night Warrior outer barrel and Shooters Design grips. All internals are standard TM parts.

My latest project now complete...NightHawk 'Lady hawk'. TM 4.3 slide mated to a TM 1911a1 frame with a few 'tweaks'. The front strap texturing was a pain to do and failed to go as I'd of liked but its as near to RS as I can get. The grips are from the Talon/MEU pistol released by Redwolf recently. All internals are standard TM. The build details are now up on my YouTube site.

Nice choice of slide there 'Jimmypie'. I was tempted recently in getting a SFA V12 ported slide but other projects got in the way ...sigh!

Yep I skirmish with all my pistols on rotation so to speak, I have so many The finish is quiet durable if as I say you use the clear laquer as a top coat but otherwise it wears quicker than a WE paint finish You will obviously get holster wear eventually etc even with the laquer finish but after all you can always re-coat.

I use Halfords car spray paints usually but have used model paints aswell. I always now finish the paint job with a car spray clear varnish for a more durable finish.

My latest project completed... A TM 1911a1 slide with a TM Desert Warrior frame. Ive customized the RIS and made bullet chin cuts and filed front cocking serrations, fitted a SPD guide rod and plug, custom thumb safety, TM Night Warrior chromed outer barrel, TSC magwell/MSH, customized TM 5.1 trigger, TM 5.1 grip safety, homemade Mahogany grips and fitted Freedom Art rear sights but im working on fitting the TM Night Warrior rear sights as they look better. I unfortunately spray painted it during a damp day and it affected the finish of the frame.
