In the end it would still be cheaper by a few hundred dollars. Given the time and effort put into it sucks but hey, better than nothing. Its hard to come buy WAs, WOCs, or Inno's. I'm starting to believe in that ATF confiscation story a while back.

I have some rather embarrassing news to report about my installation process. For the moment the reason why my nozzles were prematurely breaking was my Prime hopup was tuned to the max. This little hickup caused my misfeeds which in turn caused my nozzles to explode. I have also noticed that with the hopup properly adjusted, my ROF is back to normal. I'll try and skirmish with my gun this Sunday and report what happens.
-
Some further testing with my NPAS, AGM interal setup. I found that my ROF increased and "reliability" improved when I "seasoned" my RATech BC. I mean seasoned by literally soaking the entire thing in silicone oil. Reasoing being the AGM one is glossy and smooth as a whistle, I think that has some reasoning in its stock ROF which is very fast. After the RATech BC was drenched with silicone oil I definitely noticed improved ROF, also my nozzle replacement has yet to break. I'll get back with further details.

You have to remove the entire front sight post and the sling attachment will slide off with it.

An interesting development with my internal setup, I've completely shattered my first plastic nozzle on my NPAS. Looking into what might have caused it, I think the G&P hopup rubber is to "thick" where I physically cannot push the BBs out unless I apply a fair amount of pressure. That said when the gun does cycle properly I'm probably getting an insane amount of FPS since a lot of force is necessary to push BBs out. Has anyone else experienced this before? I'll be asking my local GBBR tech at Evike what might be causing this. For now I'll be shelving my gun since I don't want to tras

Out of curiosity, how does one swap nozzles on the NPAS? At the moment I have plastic ones but in the future I may want to use aluminum ones when I feel more comfortable with internal work.
-
Does any one know if the ACM UBR has another set of threads that can attach to an AGM GBBR? The one that came with mine are too thick. I think it was meant for WA receivers only.

News to report, I got the last bits for my gun to make it operational again. One RATech NPAS BCG, RATech bolt catch, ACM Ambi-selector, and one ACM UBR. First off if you have the cash RATech NPAS is WORTH IT. Why you ask? Its nice to adjust your FPS and while firing I haven't experienced any serious cool down or miss feeds. Also my forward assist actually has a purpose now becuase it works The bolt catch works flawlessly with the stock AGM firing block but you need to file the paint and a little, very little bit of material from the middle area and around the pin hole area. Also a tad b

I can find out for you in a couple of days when I have free time to try the Madbull Noveske rail. I have the stock barrel nut and the GBBR barrel nut. I'll try both and take pics.

I knew exactly what I was getting with this gun, I got it because I knew I'd have to open, replace, check, and double check parts. Since this was my first GBBR this was a better choice to LEARN. And after finally finishing my GBBR so it is skirmishable, I can confidently say I know more about GBBRs to help others and buy more in the future. G&P is nice but I'd still buy another AGM to fiddle around with

How much was the laser? New, used?

Is your CIRAS a Large?
-
I managed to get one from RATech directly.

Make sure the valve lock isn't keeping the valve open. If its not then I'd soak the valve with silicone to loosen it up.
-
Definitely will, all that I'm waiting for now is the RATech BCG which was shipped as of yesterday HK time. I'm hoping it'll be here by Friday.

WA type Prime Barrel Guide (hopup), G&P WA barrel bucking, amd a 6.01 PDI inner barrel. G&P bucking are way too long to fit in a WA type hopup so I trimmed about 2-3mm from the "back" end. Also the Prime hopup as I said has super tight tolerances to it takes a lot of silicon and careful pressure to get it all to fit.
-
Well the parts have super tight tolerances especially when combined with the G&P rubber which is too long. Its mostly putting it together and taking it apart until things mesh properly. Took a couple of tries to get the assembly to fit properly.
-
Good lord! It took almost 2.5 hours to install a PDI inner barrel and a Prime Barrel guide. At least now I know for sure that my gun will shoot straight.
-
There's another mod that I've been told works, I'll try to illustrate it tomorrow when I'm putting my gun together with the new parts that are coming.
-
Well with proper trigger control 5 GHKs should last me on semi. At some point I'll end up with about 7-8 more.
-
@Luis21 The only thing missing now is a King Arms engraved Noveske/Vltor MUR MBK and my GBB project is done. Hopefully KA can take a hint and make one already. The Prime kits are nice but waaaayyyy too expensive for just a MBK. Edit** Forgot to mention I got my hands on the ACM UBR that can fit on GBBRs
-
Plastic ones aren't supposed to be that durable. However they should last at least a few thousand rounds. If they keep breaking then there is something wrong with the installation of internal parts. Also on that note about plastic nozzles, a reason for having plastic nozzles is the fact I've been told trying to remove aluminum nozzles from the NPAS can be extremely difficult if a failure occurs where it becomes inoperable. Difficult to the point where a drill maybe required to remove it. At least with plastic parts they are easier to remove.

I've order quite a few expensive things for my AGM... PDI inner barrel, G&P steel outer barrel, G&P anti-rotation links, EBB ambi-selector, KA MRF 13" RAS, RATech full NPAS BCG, Prime hopup guide, and a RATech bolt stop. Once its all together we shall see what happens. Edit** Forgot to mention I got my hands on the ACM UBR that can fit on GBBRs

Anyone know how much the shipping from RATech is?
-
That plus the sponsorship from the United States Army. From what I was told a while back thats how they get a lot of their spiffy NVG toys, that plus the fact some are also active duty. btw BoE, awesome night fight vids on youtube.
