My bolt catch works fine every time.

Can't get much more battle worn than this... I've been through countless games with this sight and yesterday someone comes right around the corner and shoots me once and the BB slammed right into my sight from about 1 foot away.

It is very sturdy. It is secured by looping the triangle grommets through themselves so its impossible for them to get loose.
