  1. Yes it is RS.... that is a 556 lower on a 551 upper by the looks of it. There is a company in Canada making the RS lower receivers, so I know there is at least one make of lower reciever that fits with a Swiss upper. I don't believe the airsoft versions are interchangeable.
  2. Really. I guess they didn't match the color very well in the factory. I wonder why they didn't notice that??? And there must be some out there that are a better color match. They couldn't have made all the grips in one batch. If you ever locate some pistol grips, the correct matching color, let me know.
  3. Do you notice that on the PE90/Fass90 the green pistol grips are lighter in color, than the green color of the folding stocks and handguards?? I have noticed this with every Swiss Arms rifle's green furniture I have seen, and it bugs me. It looks more Ranger Green. I have a spare green pistol grip too, and it is the same lighter shade of green. I wish I could find a pistol grip that matches the color of the folding stock and handguards. >:\
  4. Green furniture FTW I have green furniture on my Black Special (PE90) Here is a photo.
  5. I have a friend who retails airsoft. He carries the ICS brand. He also has a real steel Swiss Arms Black Special. (SIG 550) And he has seen and handled my G&G SIG550 and he said the folding stock, and handguard material isn't as good. The receiver material isn't as good, and IIRC he said it looked cast. The Pistol grip is oversized on the ICS as well. It was not as solid feeling. Some wobbles. He said it was good but not near as good as the G&G G&G has a stamped steel receiver. The stock and handguard material is spot on. The pistol grip is the correct size. D
  6. You're from Switzerland, So comparing to the real steel should be easy. Knock on your neighbors door and ask to see his. The G&G breaks down easy too. Remove front pin. Slide upper forward and off.
  7. G&G SIGs are way better. I have a G&G 552 and a G&G 550. Both are spot on identical to the real steel. I have a real steel Swiss Arms Black Special. (a civilian, semi only version of SIG550) And G&G nails it... ICS is a distant 2nd behind G&G..
  8. Hmmmm sounds like there was something wrong, somewhere else. Hop up not installed correct or something. Something was not aligned right . You must have got one made on a friday afternoon.
  9. You don't file the feed lips. you don't need to do anything to the top feed part of the magazine. The edge that needs filing on the mag brand midcaps is the ridge on the front of the magazine, where the mag release latch catches..... it needs to be filed so the latch catches the ridge..... the mag release will click when a mag is inserted, when it is filed enough. If you were having feed issues, maybe you messed with something you shouldn't have. I have never heard of anyone not having mags work properly, after the correct edge was filed properly. I have had this gun out
  10. Just another tidbit about the G&G SIG rifles.... I was asked if the pistol grip of the G&G SIG rifles are the same size as real steel SIGs. G&G SIGs, and real steel SIGs, are indeed, exactly the same size. The TM, JG, and ICS pistol grip on their SIG rifles are larger than the real steel.
  11. I have a G&G SIG550 and a G&G SIG552, and I use TM locap SIG mags, and they all work great. no issues at all fitting, or feeding. The Mag SIG midcaps also fit and feed..... you just need to file a bit away from the lip that catches on the mag release. I also did the mod to fit a 8.4v Nimh mini chuck. I did a thread about the mod at AirsoftCanada (ASC) And it is no problem fitting in a battery now. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=108065 And here is my review on the G&G SIG550 http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=93112 I also own a rea
  12. It has to be a KSC or KWA G18c slide and guts. Those are the only 2 that will work with the kit
  13. Here is a photo of my G&G SIG 550 and one of the G&G along side of a real steel Swiss Arms Black Special.
