Another observation: My piston cup tore while I was using it at a game. My bb's stopped hopping on every setting. I replaced it with the Cradle piston and wouldn't you know it, I have hop again!! Honestly, I feel like we should just catalog all the different ways people solved their hop up problems as a way to troubleshoot. For example, for me: 1. Replaced hop up rubber. 2. Torn piston cup lead to hop up problems. Replaced it with Cradle piston.

@koolaidz830952 Save yourself the money and purchase a stock KJW M4 and a Cradle Piston. That's what I'm running and it's been great to me. If you want to down the FPS for CQB/field engagement limits, purchase the velocity reducer as well from Cradle and call it a day. There's installation videos for both parts and its incredibly simple. Hope that helps you out a bit.

Nope, the KJW M4 hop up rubber is completely proprietary. There's no nub either. The rubber has a mound/nub that's already "built" into it.

Anyone else try swapping hop up rubbers to fix their hop issues? After changing hop rubbers, I noticed that I was getting much more consistency with my hop up. No more droppers and I can easily overhop .25s on the 4th and 5th setting. This hop up mystery keeps getting more and more frustrating...but hey, this is what fixed mine.

It'll hold up with no worries.
