Hey guys, so Ive done a bit of searching in this thread but info is fairly hard to find. Im picking up a SOPMOD used, but am wanting to ditch the crane stock in favor of a CTR stock, meaning I would have to run the battery in the buffer tube, like a buffer tube battery. Is this possible? Im so confused about how the stock QD battery works and how to change it out for standard plugs in the tube. I also know the recoil system is somewhere near the stock tube but dont know exactly where. Im really hesitant to front wire it so if I cant run a battery in the tube I guess Ill have to keep the crane

Hey guys so Ive got a bit of a problem. I was packing up my TM SOPMOD to ship out (had to sell it ) and the entire upper receiver slid off the gun (apparently my front body pin got lost). Well typically this wouldnt be a problem except for the fact that somehow the springs came out that hold the entire blowback assembly together came out. So now Im stuck with the upper and the lower in tact, but the charging handle and entire blowback assembly is in pieces and sitting on my desk. Ive been looking for videos and such on how to piece it back together but my search has turned up empty. Anyone ha

Hey guys, I just ran into a huge problem. I have one battery for my TM SOPMOD and it isnt taking a charge at all anymore. I put it into my gun and then it dies. I leave for a game in just under 2hrs. I know that some people have modded the guns to take regular battery packs, can anyone help me out with how to do that? Ive searched a bit but have come up empty handed. All help is appreciated!

Yea well I went out and put a decent amount of mags through it today and I have to say that it is indeed growing on me. Maybe I was just in a bad mood yesterday but it seems like a whole different gun now that Ive tightened things up a bit. Appreciate it guys!

Idk... Just seems a bit wobbly to me, just not as sturdy as others Ive come across. The finish is pretty decent but not quite as nice as others Ive seen. The previous owner filled in the trademarks and there are a few scratches here and there so maybe I just have a bad taste in my mouth and am being too critical. The recoil is fun and all, the accuracy is great, ROF is better than expected but there is just something in the fit and feel that is lacking to me. Maybe Im just being way too critical lol... Dont get me wrong, this is one of the nicest AEGs Ive ever seen, just not quite what I had e

Got my first SOPMOD in today. Pretty excited about it so far... The recoil is deffinitely a nice change from normal AEGs. Externals arent quite where I would want them but I guess thats not anything to bad considering the things that are awesome about this gun.

Alright guys, I went ahead and jumped in.. Just ordered a SOPMOD and some mags. Cant wait.
