Arnie
The G3 and MP5 have differing pin locations, so the stocks aren't directly compatible. Get yourself a G3 sliding stock if you can find one. I think CA make them.
cazboab
you could also check to see if any one has full stocked an MC51, they might have a slideing stock spare.
Corporate_Black_Ops
AFAIK however the pylons are very similar and should be compatible, so you could use the significantly cooler MP5 stock in the G3 endcap instead of the G3 coathanger...

nmcabecadas
Check the tech manuals for both guns because you also need to be sure that the locking mechanism is identical or at least compatible, otherwise will be impossible to lock the stock in the rear position. Manuals are available in www.airsoftplayers.com/manuals.asp .
matt bond
The pylons on the MP5 stock and G3 stocks are different, you would need to do quite a bit of custom work to get them to work with each other.
Corporate_Black_Ops
What about the end plates? I have seen an MC51 with an MP5 sliding stock, I don't want to suggest that anything I've seen must be easy but can it really be that hard? <Edit> While I can't compare the two directly looking at the images on WGC I can't see much difference, how are they different? It would be much cheaper for Marui if they used a single type of aluminium section for both... </Edit>
