junior
So is it possible to customize a 5.1 to look like that...? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Check out hkssr20det's Hi Capa Springfield V12 http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...dpost&p=1410901 Thats about as close as you can get to replicating that Springfield TRP with a TM Hi-Capa. --- -SD makes all different type of slides. They would be your best bet in finding the closest match. The type of sight all depends on the slide you buy. -SD also has a variety of Barrels that you could choose from -Freedom Art makes a railed frame and a trademarked TLE II railed frame that would probably complete the look a bit more. -The TK grips that Hkssr20det has on his gun are probably the closest match to any single stack grips without getting into custom work. -Trigger/hammer can be replicated with Carom,First, or PDI parts.. IvanD
I was wondering if anyone have had the experience of fitting a real steel slide onto a Hi-Capa? If so, how much filing down did you have to do...?

aerodrew
Here's my hi-capa: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...dpost&p=1472815 It might not be the most accurate in terms of realism, but the chamber, slide and barrel are from the springfield V-12. Also note, the shooter's design V-12 barrel is kind of finicky about how it wants to stay with the ports facing the correct direction to be exposed by the openings on the slide. When you install that barrel, don't screw it down too tight, or the ports will not show. Instead tighten it so that it is one turn away from being completely tight, then insert a jeweler's screwdriver into one of the holes to turn it so that it's lined up with the slide's openings.
