Kingmob3
I had to take my CA36 apart to do some wiring a few days ago, and when I got it back together semi was no longer working, however auto is fine. I will probably be waiting for a few upgrade parts to come in before I re open the gearbox, however if any one has any speculation as to what the problem is, I would appreciate any advice as to where to look for the issue, my guess is that there is a bent or incorrectly placed contact, as you can pull the trigger in semi, however it does not fire. Thanks for you're time, KM
FELDJAGER
Try bending the selector contacts up, maybe even put a small piece of cardboard underneath them to keep them up. This worked on camilion705 CA36K.
Kingmob3
I figured that it would have something to do with the electical, thanks for the advice. KM
Gigueand
Yeah, just pop open the body and bend those contacts up. They tend to get mushed down by repeated switching between semi and full. Pretty much a major design flaw in the '36 series. Great guns though. Good luck with yours.
uRizen
My TM G36C has the same problem after extended semi-auto sessions. Switching from full back to semi has always fixed it, but I'll try shimming those contacts.
Kingmob3
It worked, however last time I took it appart a contact snapped off, so I've got a new trigger on the way. KM
