M150 = 150M/S, M170 = 170M/S which if you apply the conversion rate of 3.28ft per metre, will get you to your goal. obviously other factors such as increased compression efficiency, tight barrels etc can affect this result slightly. Sherlock Posted October 20, 2007 Report Share Posted October 20, 2007 He can talk about it as he's from the US. I found an M150 gives 502fps on a 509mm x ID6.03mm tightbore. An M170 gives 550. Not the gain you'd expect but efficiencies and the such have an effect. Not all springs are the same either. They're close but no the same. Once you get to this end of the spectrum I find less consistency between two same manufacturer springs rated the same. Link to post Share on other sites
