infected
I picked these up for my M4 project that I've completed now. After a lot of abuse and after much ammo has been spent, I must say that these have worked flawlessly. I know some people have adverse feelings towards Element and other less expensive brands, but I must say these seemed very well constructed and have performed perfectly. If you're looking to pick up a set of these, GunnerAirsoft.Com has them for a great price. Noodle_2000
Nice review. I wasn't able to find anywhere else in the US that sells these particular parts. But Airsoft 1 does sell the Silent head.. but surprisingly nothing else. http://www.airsoft1.com/Element-Silent-Pis...d-p/in-0808.htm

cire
Would a silent piston head kit extend gearbox life since it dampens the impact?
Carbine
Technically yes, but no-one has actually tested this for a longer period of time.
