kliskey
I seem to have got myself into a bit of a muddle here Ive managed to take the stock off, when in fact all I wanted to do was take the upper hand guard off So that I could attach a RAS. And now when I try to reattach the stock, I cant seem to get the trigger guard back into that hole, it doesn't click into place But more importantly, can someone please explain to me, perhaps with pictures, how to take the hand guard off? Ive searched and looked at the Quicksilver guide, but it hasn't helped much So please, Anyone, I beg for you to rescue me from my peril! Klis
davedawg123
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzRPa6d4L50 The clicking back of the trigger guard can be a bit tricky. Also, sometimes the bent part unbends itself and will need to be bent backward. Now, can you post up a high-res scan of your soc16 parts diagram?
Grimmjow
When you remove the hop up be very careful you don't want to bend and break the hopup. tilt it at angle and slowly wedge it out..

davedawg123
Thanks! As for the RAS install, is it similar to this? If so, perhaps fumi can help you out.
Sale
Just bend the metal clip in the rear and pry it out. It is a bit tricky, mind. The cocking handle gets a bit in the way, but if you manage to start from the right side it's usually easier. -Sale
kliskey
Thanks Sale - Ive worked it out though Now I just need to get the ras on, I think there will be some sanding involved tbh.
