Barrel Caps?

I wondering what everyone thought might be a good way to make a barrel cap because my barrel caps dont fit in my upgraded barrels, maby like sanding down some plasic (doesnt sound like its gona work but maby) or like using a mold?

What do you clever people at making stuff think cause i dont do much moding.

you could use a wine cork, depending on what kind of gun it is and what type of flash hider you're using it can either be trimmed down to fit inside the flash hider/outer barrel or drilled out to fit over it

If you simply want function, use a heavy sock.

 

Though admittedly it doesn't look all too sweet.

well i kinda wanted some thing that would keep dust and dirt out but that you cant really see or it looks ok, like for a gun i was going to mount on a stand.

no idea, i've never tried it to be honest, but when was the last time you saw a cork fall apart and leave bits of cork inside a wine bottle?

At my field a sock will not cut it (nor will a glove). I would suggest something like this: http://www.combatsportsupply.com/index.asp...D&ProdID=72

For $3.50 from a great guy, can't be beat. Anyway those are good because they work on just about any gun, with or without a suppressor, and they also have the elastic so they won't come off.
