Robot 2000
hi there, since playing MGS2 through on my xBox I couldn't stop thinking about getting an AKS-74u. Thing is the only way at the moment is the guarder kit which is outrageously expensive. However, I think it should be possible to approximate one with the following bits n pieces: Marui AKS-47 Marui Spetnatz front end Trapper industries AK74u side folding stock Now, I know that the Marui parts are likely to be fine but I've seen that the AK fans on here are not big on recommending trapper . . . any particular reasons to steer clear of it? cheers Robo 2k
Lobo
you should ask on the Red Alliance you should get some good suggestions from them. good luck
Tinkerton
why not just use a Spets as the base gun?
Robot 2000
I'm not sure if you'd be able to attach the folding stock to the end of the spetz receiver. Would someone with a full stocked AK give me a heads-up on this?
nmcabecadas
You have a small article in the Projects section about making a stamped receiver from the milled model made by TM.
PlasticMag
This WAS an AKBS. That's a real Russian non-folder on there, poissible with a bit of work.
