Ratings are shown in the forum view and to rate an post look at the top right of the topic that you are viewing. This is to prevent commercial organisations rating posts which are basically self-promoting 'news' entries here as five stars - giving regular members a chance at ensuring some more objectivity when rating / viewing this section.
