Stuey
My friend's G36 broke inexplicably last skirmish, and we have torn the gearbox apart to find no obvious problem. We now want to put it back together, but the thing is so damn fiddly we're stumped! The video on mechbox.com won't work and we need to get the thing back together. There are seemingly millions of little springs and weirdly-shaped bits of plastic! Heeeeelp please . Stu.

Stuey
julesbloke, it's the gearbox itself, not the gun . OK, I'll try that...
The General
Take all the bits to someone who knows what they are doing. To be fair, from your description, you two have no idea what you are doing and I can attest to the fact the trigger mech and assembly on the G36 series mechboxes is a total swine to work on. This is NOT a good mechbox to start on without a clue mate. Gather all the bits and take it to a shop or site person who can help.
toasty297
I agree that the Ver.3 gearbox can be a bit of a *badgeress* to work on, especially getting the trigger to stay while putting it back together. Hate to say it, but so far most of the ppl are correct, if you're not mechanically inclined or a beginner, it'll just be easier to get someone to do it for you.
