Has anyone changed his SOCOM's body (upper, lower or both)? What did you change it with? The following lines link to the bodies I am interested. I'm contemplating getting one of these but would like to option of later changing the stock/handguard.. Long as you keep the standard buffer tube you can slap on any stock you like, so obviously there's a fair amount of choice there. As for handguards, as long as you arrange an appropriate battery solution then again most stuff will work, were you thinking something drop-in like the MOEs or a freefloat rail? TheFull9 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 The M7A1 uses the Troy MRF type rail, you'll need either some nun-chuck 7.4v lipos or a PEQ box to use a RIS on the front of a SOCOM, but it can indeed be done. Link to post Share on other sites
