AirsoftBuyer1234
I bought a TM M9 a few months back, and a couple of mags to go with it. It's all been working fine, until recently, when both mags have simultaneously decided to leak. On investigation, it turns out that the mags are too cold when I fill them (I store them in unheated area), so the seals aren't closing up properly once the gas is in. If I bung the mags on a radiator for 30 mins before, then there isn't a leak. Having filled the mags while warm, they won't leak no matter how cold they then get, until it's time for a refill. So, are there any solutions to this? - I often reload in the field, which is no longer an option. Thanks
AirsoftBuyer1234
I guess not then?
Tom Andrews
Its required that gas mags need regular amounts of silicon oil sprayed into the mag and onto the O rings to maintain gas tightness. Do this every five mags and you shouldn't have any problems.
AirsoftBuyer1234
Ah ok, cheers. Time to pick me up some silicon oil then. Do I need to disassemble the gun for that, or do I just spray into the openings?
