DangerWerx
I was doing some tune up work on my 1911 last night, and clumsy me, i dropped the slide. the base of the slide towards the rear has now cracked off and rendered the upper useless. Any one know where i could source a PLASTIC slide for the tm 1911? Why plastic? Metal is nice, but I enjoy the stock gas consumption rate and really don't want to play with other variables. If someone could point me in the direction of a store or person in the US who has spare stock plastic slides for sale, that would be awesome,
hardboiledcop
I have a stock marui MEU slide.. and I have the sights for it too. As far as I'm aware everything should slot in exactly like the standard 1911 slide.. pm me if you're interested. ta.

NonEx
eHobbyAsia has the TM slide and frame plastic originals, it's out of stock though, but you could email them and ask. They build custom metal guns so I assume they have some left over. Any HK shop that offers custom 1911 metal builds should also have stock plastic kits lying around. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/tokyo-marui-abs-slide-and-frame-for-m1911a1-gbb.html I have a TM 1911 original plastic slide left from my build, and the rear sight. It's in so-so condition though (banged up and scratched) but it works...
