J.J.Simpson
Website http://www.new-ztactical.com/ Facebook http://facebook.com/world.newelement It is funny when you take somethink, clone it and then you write - "Desing by IDEA" in Honk Kong. It is good that it wasn't desinged by IKEA
Redshirt 1-7
Is there any indication this will actually protect hearing? It's the only legit reason I'd bother using one of these headsets, besides looks. I tend to use a set of slim profile muffs I found as stand-ins for a real set of Comtacs because one of the regular fields I play at involves lots of grenades and reverberation, and the Element ones apparently do not protect jack squat... Do these come with built-in radios?
The Prowlah
My Z-Tactical Sordins protect my hearing quite well when the thunder b's go off, including at Urban 559, if that is what you are referring to Nigel.

Hello there stranger Glad to hear it, I've been wanting a pair but the only ones I'd heard of (Element) don't really do anything other than look cool...and real sets cost more than my entire gun collection do! EDIT: My other post sounds full of rage, disregard my angsty tone.
SteevoLS
FYI real Sordins are *not* that expensive. $175-250 on eBay is not uncommon.
Horsem4n
i had a pair of z tactical comtac 2s, i was plenty def while wearing them.
mirrage
Almost all replicas are more expensive if you consider that you get far less than the original product provide. For instance hearing protection. Therefore the 150-250 you give for the original are not that much.
PANGjE
Just to let y'all know, the existing Z-Tacts protect my hearing sufficiently, I take my Comtac II's to shoot skeet every week and the sound muffling is decent (not as good as Peltor Sportacs though) and the noise repro is below average (on a windy day that is) hope this helps
