LordElpus
If you can afford it, the TK Twist barrel works well with the Falcon Double Hop rubber in WE 1911s/Hicapas
gijohn2
A+ barrel with a stock TM rubber will give you 45meters+ range and its cheap
Kevlaa
Hi guys, I took my now upgraded 1911 out yesterday but seem to be having a problem with it now. When I fire it fires the first round but then the slide don't seem to want to go all the way back to load another. Any ideas?
mimesis
Please tell us exactly what you ended up doing to upgrade it--all new parts, etc. etc. That'll make it a good deal easier to try and diagnose the problem. It would appear that something is catching/binding on something else, but what? Bottom of loading nozzle on router rubber, bottom of BBU on hammer, or ???
Kevlaa
Hi, As in one of my previous posts ive upgraded- The recoil spring with a 160% A new hammer spring A new firing pin spring A new safety barrel spring And fitted mag shims to all my mags. Ive now tried the gun with the original recoil spring and hammer spring but this does not help. One more thing I think I should add is when I slide the slide back the feeding nozzle is sticking slightly, I have greased the piston head o'ring could this be a fault bbu? Or piston head or just that spring? Thanks again
mimesis
Take the shim out of one of your mags and try that.

Lyng
You need redgas or co2 to get that long range out of a 1911/hicapa

bankz5152
Remove the hammer spring. It will be causing more issues, our weather is not hot enough to need one, nor are you using CO2.
