super64
This may be a stupid question, or seem like an obvious, straightforward yes or no, but can anyone think of any issue with fitting an Aeg upper receiver onto a Gbb lower? I've got a G&P M4 WOC and I want to buy a spare, short barrelled receiver. I can get a full G&P Aeg upper, but I'm having difficulty finding a Gbb one. Would it work if I bought the Aeg one and replaced the bolt with a Gbb one? I'm not a gun tech and use Gbb's, not much experience of Aeg's, so I don't know if there is something I'm missing. Gigueand
No, an AEG upper won't work on a GBBR lower or vice versa.
super64
Thanks for the reply mate. What specifically would prevent it working?
wildething
there is nothing for the bolt to ride on.
super64
Right, got you. Not having much experience of AEGs I hadn't thought of that. Thanks very much, you've both stopped me making a mistake.
Beeingmyself
That basic tolerences are just off. You can't even fit for an example G&G to a G&P because they use their own specific tolerences The airsoft manufacotrs haven't quite got the hold of the term Milspec standard
