Blingmaster$$
I've noticed that there is not alot of WWII replicas out there. I want to make an M1A1 carbine, buy a Hudson M3A1 and I have a UHC Colt 45. Parts list for the M1A1 carbine *KJ works MK1 *Wood *Tightbore barrel *Tubing for the stock P.S. any ideas on how to get the stock to lock
kalbs
Bling, Marushin makes the M1 Carbine, why not modify that one with a folding stock? It's been done...think I saw it here on Arnies.
SABRE100
The mk1 isn't really all that great, maybe that new hfc mauser, I think it was, would be better and the mag is in the front. I assume that the only reason you haven't bought the marushin is because it's not semi auto, as it's the only thing keeping me from buying it. Oh, by the way they're making an m2(what I'm waiting for)
Blingmaster$$
ok i've just checked out the mauser and i think it would be better. thanks 100. you're right, it needs to be semi auto or full auto because the UHC .45 is a springer. no thanks on the m2. i want an m1a1 because they are different and rare at skirms
kalbs
I knew I saw it here on Arnies... This may help a bit Bling http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/reviewpost/...php/product/
oikoik
like what kalbs said, the m1 carbine is available - the 8mm was in production not long ago - might still be. the 6mm was retired from production some time ago but you can still find them around. i had one for a while and it was quite sweet. the folding stock para version was also done by someone - i think on these boards as it happens. looked very nice and apparently not hard to do. both versions of the m1 carbine [the m1a1 was the para name iirc] are gas fed, single action. look out for a semi or full auto version - the m2 - of the m1 carbine apparently in production at the moment, or soon to be at least. they were touted around the same time the m1 garand was. edit: both kalbs and SABRE100 beat me to it.
