Lance Jackass
Gas return tube. It houses a piston that gets pushed back by the force of some of the expanding gas from the burning of the proppellent. The piston pushes against a rod, or the boolt face, pushing the bolt back, recocking the action and chambering the next round.
Sale
LJ: The piston is directly connected to the bolt carrier with a little bit of play in it. The bolt carrier starts to retreat, and a cam in the bolt causes it to rotate at this point, allowing it to retreat with the bolt carrier. -Sale
