KSC Japan and Taiwan Versions

does anyone know what the difference is if any between the japan and taiwan versions of ksc's gbbs is?

i was under the impression that kwa were the taiwan versions of ksc but wgc say different.

There's usually no difference at all, but recent ones seem to bear differently prefixed serial numbers.

 

I've bought a number of TV KSCs and they are definitely not just KWAs.

 

Personally, I've found them indistinguishable from the JVs.

 

The story I was told is that JV simply means the HK retailer sourced them from Japan instead of Taiwan (where they're made) and they just get another set of QC checks in Japan (plus, of course, extra shipping costs and taxes), which make them dearer.

 

Having said all that, which gun are you interested in? There MAY be specific differences on a specific model.
