ianhaz
Im planning on doing a marpat paintjob on my Xm8 as I was shocked at the horrible banana milkshake colour it came in. I dont have a problem making stencils or doing the actual painting itself, I just dont have a clue as to what Krylon colours i will need. Anyone who has done a marpat paintjob or is "in the know" on shades of krylon paint i would appreciate your help. A quick photoshop of what i plan to do:
AGuy
IMO that paintjob actually looks pretty cool. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filnavn=/p...painting101.htm

itsahak
I used the Krylon Camouflage Tan, OD Green, Brown and Flat Black. They made a good combo. Unfortunately I have no digital camera to take a pic for you. Also I did not do a MarPat job, but the colors should hold the same.
El_Hombre
Out of curiosity, how do you plan on doing the "digital" shapes? Stencils?

ianhaz
To clarify, i think the best method of making the stencils would be to cut the shapes out of graph paper(you know the type of paper with all the tiny blue squares) and use masking tape to skick it to the gun. If anyone has any better suggestions then fire away.
