Crandall
It looks nice, but the wood doesn't look dark enough, and it's a buttload of money! I'd buy it if I could, but it wouldn't number 1 on my list!

Antagon
The real one is so much cheaper it's not even funny...lol.
Crandall
I know my friend has 2! Beautiful. One that was made during the war but had never seen combat, and I think one was a remake! You can buy a WWII Mauser rifle with kit for $300 USD. thats what a quarter of the price of a Smokeys M1?!?! enzo100
Yes it does look light but that can be changed if you have even MORE money. I do agree that being able to buy a real steel version for less is quite an oddity.
Catchv22
How does the gas M1 Garand? Fake cartridges and an en bloc clip? Or a regular GBB type magazine?
Pjotr
It's a shame it's so expensive
Lance Jackass
there was a custom airsoft garand i saw somewhere that fed off those TM shot gun shells. I doubt the smokeys one wil have cartidges because of the practicality of them, same for the ejecting garand clip. To make the clip ping wouldn't it have to be exactly the same as the original ie sheet metal. So then it couldn't feed bbs?
Catchv22
The en bloc clip would hold cartridges. Without cartridges, there would be no way to get the same en bloc clip in, which makes the ping.
